Date Range. Shadow Elves are my first pick for bow builds or characters that I won't play to high levels. They have a percentage increase to dexterity as well as an enormous 26 extra attribute points starting off with. I feel like Shadow Elves fall off for non bow builds at absurdly high levels, but it's very hard to go wrong here whether it be warrior, archer, or mage.

Relying on bows and haste magic, they will often dispatch their enemy from a distance before the battle has even begun. Half Orcs are the go to warrior with a solid percentage increase to strength and stamina. They are the warrior equivalent to human mages and can solidly pull ahead when the player wants to build heavily toward strength.

Their half-blood offspring are seldom better. But, while retaining their ancestral strength, there is still hope that Half Orcs might learn a little magic or swordplay. To me Coggers are the opposite of the dark elf. Their power comes at higher levels due to both their low starting attributes and multiple percentage bonus increases. Coggers are the place to go when you want to push your character's level to the limits or you want to be as defensive as possible.

While the most powerful secrets of their ancestors are forgotten in time, Coggers still observe the ritual of modifying their bodies with strange machines that enhance their defense and vitality. I'm very disappointed to say Imps aren't a solid race compared to the other options.

They have no percentage increases to attributes in sight and have a pretty low flat attribute increase as well. Imps appear to be focused on letting you summon minions then either use spears or attack magic, but I would rather use a Human or Dark Elf every time.

Their ancestors are rumored to have climbed out of a deep crevasse that opened in the desert thousands of years ago. Other ancient texts suggest they were summoned from the dimensional plane of fire by a demented sorcerer who tried to enslave them. Through guile and agility the imps overthrew the sorcerer and spread across the land. There is also a race that has been entirely commented out. In order to play as Undead you will have to open up your Races. The Undead are an interesting race as far as summoners go.

They have the same attributes as Humans, but lack the attack or defense magic humans have. Undead have an extra set of resistances protecting them from slashing, piercing, and ice, but in return they have a weakness to crushing damage. Overall the Undead will be a Human missing a few skill points but with a unique look.

Undead are generally unnatural and mindless constructs, obeying whomever created them without question or thought. GoldiiLux 8 Sep, pm.
